Braskem; the producer of bioplastic granules, has opened a bioplastic pop-up store at Rotterdam central station. Braskem produces bioplastic raw materials from sugar cane. These raw materials are processed into granules from which we produce sheets. Our bio-polyethylene sheets are made from Braskem granulate. The bioplastic pop up store is intended to introduce bioplastics to the Dutch public. Last week we also visited the pop-up store. You will find a clear explanation of how bioplastics are made from sugar cane. There are also beautiful examples of end products made from bioplastics. The pop-up store can be visited until November 30 and is open from 8:00 to 20:00.
